Hong Kong Last March 2002, letters were sent to all members inviting them to participate in the Trenchless Asia Conference and Exhibition that was recently held in Hong Kong. The response was very positive with some 7 companies taking up the offer. It was also pleasing to see other ASTT members being represented through overseas companies. The companies that were on display were, Terramacs, Lucas Hong Kong, TT Asia Pacific, Aussiemole, Kembla Watertech, Coe Drilling, Sandvik Smith, Herrenknecht (Asia), Tunnelteq and Rib Loc Australia, L&M Pipeline Services. From reports I have received, most exhibitors were fairly satisfied with the event and they were satisfied with the exposure they were looking for.
May I also take this opportunity to personally thank Brian Campion, Contract Manager from Kembla Watertech for the use of his digital camera and for supplying the ses pictures to me for inclusion into the December 2002 newsletter.Article by Jeff Pace ASTT Secretary.
